Untitled Project (48 Hour Makeshift Film Challenge 2009)
somewhere in between sleep, work, school, and life, we did it.
The Makeshift Film Challenge was a creative exercise established in the summer of 2009 to motivate individuals to create a short film with a team within 48 hours. We consisted of students – amateur film-makers, photographers, musicians, and artists – who got together to challenge ourselves to try and make a film from scratch (including music). All we needed was a host, a project, a team, (some energy drinks) and a deadline.
this is how we made it happen.
Here is a documented journey through the delirium, hysteria, and time we shared together as part of this Makeshift Challenge. Though we may have failed time-wise by exceeding our 48-Hour deadline, our failure was necessary to propel us to produce a film that is above and beyond all of our expectations.
uh oh. we forgot the title.
Currently our project is untitled, and we would love to hear your thoughts, comments, and perhaps even a suggestion for a good name that sums up your viewing in one or two words.
Don’t be shy – say hello!

nuit blanche 2009.
We’d like to thank those who have stumbled across our experimental video installation during Nuit Blanche 2009, most likely confused but hopefully intrigued, as well as our friends at Commute Home who have graciously lent us their studio for the night.
